Burning permanently removes the Primate from the collection — it's gone for good. In the same transaction, a soulbound Hall of Fame banner is minted to your wallet, commemorating the Primate you retired.

No. The burn is permanent and on-chain — the Primate cannot be recovered. That's the point: it's retired into the Hall of Fame for good.

A one-off basketball jersey — a clothing trait available only through Week 2 burns. Sensei adds it to a Primate of your choice (not the burned one) at a later date.

One winner is drawn at random from every burn entry after the Week 2 window closes (Sunday, May 24). The winner will be announced Tuesday, May 26 at 11 AM ET. More burns means more tickets and better odds.

After the burn window closes, open a ticket in the Primates Discord and let us know which of your Primates you'd like the jersey added to. Sensei will apply it at a later date — one jersey per burn.

Not directly — a Primate that's staked or listed for sale can't be burned. Unstake or delist it first and it'll show up as eligible.

Just the Solana network fee plus a small one-time rent (about 0.0024 SOL) for your Hall of Fame banner. Nothing else.
